I have two cards for this challenge, but will upload the other tomorrow morning when I have more time (it's almost time for rehearsal!).
For this card, I cased myself HERE using the Wrinkle Free Distress technique. I actually had set this background aside, thinking it was not card-worthy, since there are a lot of empty spots and visible ridges in the watercolor paper. But then I decided just to use it and see what happened, and I liked how it turned out! Instead of swiping an ink pad on my craft sheet, however, on this card I made inky water sections with watercolor paints on the craft sheet.
The butterfly is die cut from printed vellum.
Come play along and CASE (Copy and Share Everything) a card you like (yours or someone else's) and see all of the wonderful ideas our stamping community has!

I love this watercoloring or distress inks with the beautiful ferns going through it. Your butterfly is quite interesting too - such a cool way to do one. I love the looks of this!!
What a lovely card, Judy! I love the subtle watercolor BG and neat butterfly, cut from the patterned vellum! I'm glad you saved the watercolor paper--it works really well!
