This card started totally different (I intended to use the bear from Thankful Forest Friends), but I'm pleased with the result. After purchasing the acorn punch I was unsure of its usefulness, but I've decided that I do like it and will use it.
The edges of the acorns as well as the panel are sponged in soft suede. I did cheat a bit and stamped part of the acorns in crumb cake on the soft suede since I wanted a variation in color.
In addition to the gold cord I used the gold glitz to add some berries to the greenery and sprayed the wood acorn with the Color Bloom.

I am so envious of people that can make CAS cards this pretty. The little vine behind the acorns and the splatter look fantastic. That acorn punch is adorable.

Jeanne this is fabulous!!! I love the colours and terrific layout. The acorns look terrific. The acorn could easily be turned into a beanie (cap) for your crazy birds. Turn upside down, cut off the stalk, flip the band so it is shaped around his head.
