This card is for the Merry Monday challenge, to use red and gold on a holiday card. The red panel is from a piece of faux marble paper I made awhile back. You mist your paper really well, fold and crumple, then spread it out and apply inks. I used Tim Holtz fired brick distress stain for this piece. The word Christmas was cut from gold foil paper and also from the faux marble piece, but just on the top edge. The gold word was placed in the opening, after the red panel was attached to the card base. The rest of the sentiment was stamped in early espresso. Here's the link to the challenge, if you're interested. http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/

Love, love, love that marbled paper, Sue! I've got to try that. And I love the way you've fit the sentiment in the top of it and all at a slight angle! Thanks for sharing this with us at Merry Monday!
