I do love using my watercolour sprays. I coloured the card for my butterfly a while ago --- always good to use something from my stash. I used yellow, green and lime green watercolour sprays and then stenciled over top with leaves, but once I stamped the butterfly and fussy-cut it, that didn't really show any more. But I do like the bright colours together.
I made the background panel to match, by spraying the same three sprays, but blotting with a paper towel before it was dry to remove a bit of the colour. This created a softer version of the colours of the butterfly so they work perfectly together. A stamped banner sentiment and a few sequins and the card was finished.
