I used sea salt in a grinder to create this background. It reminded me of the ocean. I had made a prettier one using brights but when I went to mist it to make the colors wetter, I use stamp cleaner instead of water....bummer.

beautiful nautical card! your colors truly mimic the sea.
Too bad the stamp cleaner was spritzed on the first one, did you let it dry anyway? I'm wondering how it turned out after all. LOL! Thanks for playing along, so glad you enjoyed the challenge!

Wow - this background is amazing. It does look like the sea. Love the ship image. I smiled at your blunder because it could have easily happened to me. My water mister and stamp cleaner bottles are the same. I better label them more clearly! As Shannon said, let it dry and see what it looks like. You might have stumbled onto a cool technique! Papercrafters are good at making our mistakes work to our advantage. Love the card you made for this challenge. The corner punch is excellent and I like how you wrapped the cord around. I have that punch; thanks for the cool idea. Great card for HYCCT!!
