This is for Sabrina's very challenging challenge - Dangle Art. I could successfully draw doohickie stick things all day long, one would think dangle art would be similar......one would be very wrong.
To say drawing dangle art and doohickies are the same, is like saying if you can breathe you can sing opera!!
My desk is littered with white cardstock and dozens attemps. I watched the great video Sabrina linked to the challenge and it was interesting to hear that the lady uses a super fine .01 micron pen, I had a fine .02 and was surprised at the differene it made to the .05 and .04 I use for doohickies.
Most of my card was done using the fine .02 pen, but I added .04 doohickies in top left corner and bottom right corner - couldn't help my self.
The stamp comes zentangle, I just added some white and then I added dangles. The water drops were hand drawn (MIX125 has a great tutorial by Lydia).
The background was from my stash, done with brusho's and distress ink. I found drawing on colour far more forgiving than crisp white card LOL.
Thanks for looking.

I need some more superlatives if you are going to keep making sensational creations like this. Absolutely stunning. The colors remind me of a piece of slightly tarnished (in a good way, not old trash tarnished) metal. All of your doodles are wonderful, and I love how you stuck with white, black and woodsy colors...unlike some of us who tend to go overboard with garish colors. Pinned and faved.

Hey Susie, I'm sorry this was an uphill challenge for you! I was sure that with your doohickey skill it would be a cinch for you. But your efforts paid off, this is so wonderful with your trademark background, great doodling, and the way your gold cord echoes the curves in the feather.

My jaw dropped when I saw this! And it's pretty much stuck there. This is an Awesome and Amazing card!!! I am especially enthralled with your colors...which happen to be some of my very favorites. And I was surprised to see that feather. Haven't seen much zentangle lately. It's been on my wish list, now being switched to my buy list. Your Dangles and Doohickies have been Perfectly Susied! Never fear! You can do anything! Just a little hair pulling practice is all it takes.

I love this!!! I am off to work but I have faved this so I can come back afterward and really study it. Wow - such a great feeling to this - you have mastered the technique for sure (although you really do it quite often on a smaller scale). Hugz
