This is made for LMcAree – Lori McAree’s HYCCT challenge – HYCCT1517
I saw Vicky Papaioanou aka Vicky Clipncuts make this wonderful sky background on her recent blog post and totally cased it. The night sky is made by masking the moon, then applying distressed inks – Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, and a little Black Soot. The moon is than colored with Spiced Marmalade. Did not come out nearly as good as Vicky’s but was relatively happy with it. The house and trees on the bottom are Papertrey Ink’s Petite Places: Church Mini stamp and die set, and Pop Up Trees. The windows and doors were backed by yellow paper, then yellow stickles for a little added shine.

This.is.gorgeous!! Great job on the inking. I love how dark you went because it really feels like it's the middle of the night and you're looking up at the night sky.

How gorgeous! I love that big moon shining against that dark, night sky. I love cards with churches on them. I guess I'll need that stamp and die set.
