This is for AngieÂ’s HYCCT Challenge to do the Wrinkle Free Distressing Technique. IÂ’ve never done that technique before, so I followed the directions best that I could with SU ink. I thought it might work with this wonderful paper that is white with white embossed patterns. It worked like the Emboss Resist technique; the ink absorbed into the paper and just wiped off the embossed pattern. I used a brush to fill in a couple spots I missed. It was fun, but IÂ’ll need some practice. This card is also for the Ways to Use It challenge to use a book. I used an image of The Good Book. The Bible is watercolored with an aqua painter brush. Using a stiff paint brush, I applied some gold metallic ink for the gold-leaf pages. Then I cut out the image, adhered onto Indigo cs and cut again to create a mat around it. The image & mat were raised up on StampinÂ’ Dimensionals. There are Stickles on the flowers for a bit of sparkle. A ribbon is the finishing touch. I enjoyed trying something new. Thanks for looking. I hope youÂ’re enjoying the weekly challenges and the daily HYCCT challenge in October.
Oh, how fun that the technique worked so beautifully on your paper! My first thought was how did you get such a gorgeous solid white resist! Fabulous card! Thanks so much for playing along with my challenge!

Using that pre-embossed paper worked wonderfully with the wrinkle-free distress, it looks beautiful. The colours are so soft, picked up on perfectly with that organza ribbon.
