I was up late last night finishing this card for Robin's very cleaver Candy Striper HYCCT challenge. I am a little obsessed with staying caught up....it is unfortunate that my job involves sharp objects ( dental hygienist). I hope I still have 10 fingers at the end of the day. I colored the hearts before work yesterday and hit a creativity black hole. I have a lot of dotted and plaid red paper, but this was the only stripped paper I had. After work everyone seemed to have a crisis, and I was finishing the dinner dishes at 10:30. I always say that have a vampire lurking in my family tree, because the creative side of my brain seems to come alive late at night. Now I am off to work trying to think of what to do for today's HYCCT card.

I love the vampire side of you..especially if you keep coming up with beauties like this!! I just knew this was yours before I even saw your name. LOVE those heart flowers and the dotted and striped leaves/stems...super creative and so cheery! Don't hurt anyone today with those sharp instruments!

OMGosh Francie! Everytime I think you couldn't possibly get any more creative, you make a card like this! I LOVE those hearts and LOVE your stems and leaves!!! This is such an amazing card and I LOVE, love, love how you colored your hearts! They have so much dimension! Thanks so much for staying up late to make a card for my HYCCT challenge!

Wow Francie, another stunning card. I wouldn't have thought to use turquoise with the red but I love it. With your shading, the hearts look like they're glowing. Love it.

Why were you doing the dishes! Couldn't someone else help out with them. I guess I'm lucky, DH says that if I cook the least he can do is do the dishes afterwards. Those hearts are beautiful. Red, white and any sort of aqua/turquoise is one of my favourite colour combinations and one I practically never use - I don't have the right blues in cardstock. I think I'm a little envious of the vampire side of you, I have trouble being creative at all in the evenings.
