This card is for Sunday's Hope You Can Cling to It Challenge. I did color this late Sunday, but I have been so very busy trying to make freezer meals for our surrogate daughter who is expecting her second child any day now. I do remember how hard it can be to feed a family when you are caring for a newborn and recovering from a C-Section at the same time. So my son and I got together and cooked a whole bunch of meals. I just finished up today. Back to the card. This image brings to mind the many Monet Water Lilies, so I used the Pointilism technique to add color to this image. The fish were challenging since they were a solid block print type image. So I used a white paint pen to add dots.

Your card is awesome. All those tiny dots to color in your image are amazing! The effect is beautiful. The white dots on the fish are clever. Love, love the sentiment! When I was reading it, I was expecting the standard statement "Don't put off till tomorrow what can be done today" which would have been fine, but was delighted with a different version of the advice. Love it! Lots of good ideas. Into my favs. Thanks for supporting HYCCT with your artwork.

Wonderful job creating all those meals for your surrogate daughter. I love the water lilies inspiration and what an incredible rendition of them on this card.
