This challenge was a REAL challenge to say the least. I worked on this card, or should I say many attempts, most of the afternoon. I ended up with this and it is what it is. I really don't like it. But my brain is tired from trying. This is the link to the print I was trying to mimic, and I say that very very loosely!! http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...6H0&ajaxhist=0. I ended up using DP to create my background. I then stamped my image in Momento Black and used my ink directly from the ink pad to color it. I used my Itty Bitty Backgrounds in Summer Starfruit for my speckles in the background. I matted it on Summer Starfruit and popped it up. I sponged some Summer Starfruit on lower DP piece too. I didn't give it a sentiment as I thought it would really make it look even more crummy than it already is. If I have time, I might try to make another card for this challenge, but not this print!!! TFL ladies.

I know what you mean about your brain being tired from trying. It took me all night too. I like your flowers really well though. Not exactly like the picture and more your own. I did not make mine my own so much and I should have!

I have to agree with you on this being one of the toughest of the HYCCT challenges. I love your background as well as you lovely vase of flowers.

Monet had a fantastic eye for beautiful flowers and I think you did an amazing job capturing them in this card. What a wonderful artist to be inspired and I love your interpretation on his great work. Beautifully done.
