So, I am VERY excited that New York Seltzers have made a come back! One of the awesome memories from my youth! I decided to suprise my sister with some, and I wanted to make a box for them.
SO, I used the Gift Box Punch Board. I created 4 boxes using the measurements for a 2/5 x 2/5 x 4 sized box. Adhered them together, stapling the flaps inside, except one of the 4 to adhere the caddy handle.
I cut a piece of CS, folded in half to adhere down the center of the boxes glued together where the flaps stuck up (the flaps are inside the folded CS). I used the note tag punch, punched on one side, then from the other side lined up so you get a long rectangle, for the handle hole.
I adhered a 5" square piece of cardstock underneath the box base for added strength.
Washi tape decorates around the base. I tied the ribbon around the handle, then used the bow as a place to hang the tag.
Flower made with the three different flower punch shapes, crinkled up and adhered together, including a button center. There is also sequin trim hanging off the flower which doesn't show up in the photo.
Sadly, the ONLY problem with this is that while the drink caddy is actually quite sturdy, the handle is not strong enough to hold the drink caddy. You have to carry it by the base. Perhaps reinforcing the handle would help. Lighterweight objects I am sure will have no problem being held up.
