This is for the IC515 - illustrations Pinterest Board and for today's HYCCT1517 - Ombre. Oh my I loved all of the illustrations. I decided on the bunny and the moon illustration for my inspiration. I used the bunny and moon images from a WPlus9 set and colored them with the Molotow liquid masking pen. Oh that pen is so nice to use! Then I took an old paintbrush and the Liquid Frisket and splattered that on the card front for the stars. Once dry I blended the different colors of distress inks for an ombre look. I used a gray Copic marker for a bit of shading on the bunny.

Harriet this is magical....you really nailed your inspiration and I love how you left some lighter areas on your sky and around the bunny to show highlights..it really evokes a starry sky...this is so well done ;)

This is so wonderful, Harriet. It brings back such happy memories of reading " I love you this much" with my boys. Your bg is stunning...it is better than the cover of the actual book.

Enchanting....that's what your card is, Harriet. TFS how you achieved this beautiful look. The sky is fabulous. I'll have to look into that masking pen....seems like a great tool for watercoloring. Thanks!
