This uses this week's gorgeous Color Challenge colors and is for Barbara's HYCCT Challenge to use the backs of our clear stamps. I didn't get terribly creative using a simple rectangle shape in the same manner that I've done acrylic block stamping before....I do think you get a bit more ink coming into contact with the paper using this method. I did a little soft sponging along the edges of my Vanilla piece and on my ferns. I used Soft Suede to stamp my sentiment because the Sahara didn't show up. I cut my back framing pieces and diecut the pairs of ferns from each. I basically did a mirror image of my first card to do the second because the ferns are curved in opposite directions.

These cards are fantastic. It looks like you knew just what to do with the rectangles. I like how you stacked them and put the stems over the blocks. Great job with the color challenge, too. Thanks for all you do to support HYCCT.

Gail,
Love that acrylic block technique, I have never done that! Gotta add this to my list of things to try!! That fern die is absolutely wonderful and love that you made them in the two colors! Great job on this weeks CC!!

I Love what you did with this challenge, Gail! The blocks have a unique look to them, which you probably couldn't repeat if you tried! Pretty simple die-cut fern~
