I came across this frame in my spares box yesterday when I was rooting through it. I'd made it for Dina's Waxing Eloquent MIX challenge some time back, and never got back to using it after the gilding wax had had time to dry!
I'd created it by cutting the frame out, then embossing it, then rubbing with metallic rub-ons and gilding wax.
So last night while I was talking to my dad on the phone, I prepped by stamping the owl, and was able to get him coloured. I added some shimmer mist to the frame to give it more contrast, added some silver confetti stars to both the frame and the image panel and layered them up. I used a sentiment from the same Unity kit, stamping it on kraft, embossing with gold EP and misting more heavily with the Brusho spray (shimmering turquoise). I added a few more stars to it, and after a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, decided to put it on the front of the card.

What a perfect card for those days that try to drag you down!! LOVE that sentiment, and the look on your owl's face says it all! Your coloring looks positively wonderful, and the blue splattering on the embossed frame is GREAT!

Oh do I love this, Sabrina. You should get one of those lucite box frames so you can stand it on your desk. The frame is gorgeous and would look great with anything. Then your owl is colored beautifully, and the quote is so inspirational. This is a quadruple "WOW" card.
