I love working with brusho and bister as you have probably noticed.
The technique I used allows you to limit the colour to the area inside the embossed image. Stamp the image using versamark and white embossing powders, pool water inside the image and sprinkle the powdered crystals in the water. move the water around a little to cover the whole area. I let it dry then stamped the Rubbernecker script stamp over the whole area and heat set it. The image was still missing something so I used texture paste and a stencil in the upper right corner. I have a whole pile of textured cream pearlised card stock that I want to use up for Christmas cards so I used ranger distress ink to give the background a warmer colour.
I'm also entering this for the Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge for October Poinsettia. http://happylittlestampers.blogspot....as%20Challenge

Christine, this is so beautiful - wonderful work with the bister and the addition of the stencil and embossing paste! I have to try that technique with the bister or brushos.

Beautiful card Christine. Love how you use bister ... and this is just another way that is so pretty and I like that there is a bit of control with it. Need to try it too! Love the stenciled paste design and the script stamping ... takes the card to a whole new level. Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers. xx
