I went for one of my favorite foods..I eat it probably every day..TOAST!! I made the bg "toast" by using brushos and bisters. I then cut around it in a toast shape and outlined the crust by using distress inks and my aqua brush.

Your toast looks just amazing, Polly! It's not something I eat often - well, I'm not a big fan of bread, really. Yours makes me think of French toast - now that's something I haven't had for years!!
NO WAY! This is amazing, your toast looks so real, I'm blown away. Love the die cuts and fun punny sentiment with it, too. Just adorable! Thanks so much for playing along with my HYCCT challenge.

That toast is awesome, Polly. I thought it was a photograph- such talent. Isn't toast in the morning just a comfort. What a great concept for today's food challenge. Thanks for staying with us all month for HYCCT.

Aren't you the clever, creative and artistic one to create "toast" with powdered pigments, Polly!!! It looks SUPER! The red/white gingham gives it that homey breakfast time feel.
