This was one of those fun cards that just sort of evolved as I dug through my supplies. I started with the stamped images, which have postal markings on them, that I colored with markers. I remembered I had a couple of postage stamp dies, so while I was looking for them I ran across a graduation die set that had a ribbon for the scroll diploma that reminded me of an awareness ribbon. I cut that out in pink, punched a hole through it and rounded out the top, and it actually turned out to be a fairly good representation. It fit perfectly in the small stamp die cutout, which I masked off the edges and sponged the interior in pink to make it look a little more like a stamp. Then I remembered that I have a bunch of old decorative scissors, one of which of course is a postage stamp design, so I cut out the stamped images with that. I filled in some of the empty spaces with little hearts from a balloon die. TFL!

This is excellent. I love what evolved during your card-making. I have that stamp set, but forgot about the background postage markings. Bonus! You used these images beautifully on this card. I love the edges that you lovingly cut by hand. The tiny hearts are so cute and add a nice touch. I like how you edged everything with a sponging of pink for the cause. There's even a BCA ribbon! All this going on and this beauty can still slip into an envelope and be mailed with no extra postage. Great! Thank you for making such a pretty card. Thank you for sharing and caring by participating in HYCCT and my challenge!
