hi there,
I am so super excited to be playing along with the IC challenge today and to show you the marbled paper I made! Really super easy and so fun. Thanks to Loll Thompson for sparking my curiosity. (I will be posting a link on my blog soon)
I began with alcohol inks resembling the colours of these shells: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/379146862356956586/
When my paper was dry, I stamped away.

Your card is so pretty, love your floating ink technique. The picture you chose for inspiration sure had beautiful colors. I can see how you were inspired by it.

I got to learn this technique from Loll herself! Christine (calex) and I spent a day at her house and this was one of the techniques we played with! Isn't it fun? You never know what you'll get.
You ended up with a lovely soft background - perfect for the inspiration photo you picked. And perfect for the bit of script and the flowers you stamped on it.

Your bg marbling is exquisite...I look forward to reading all about it. It made a beautiful backdrop for your QAL silhouette and message of thanks, Karen. Have a lovely fall week-end, mf.
