Lydia challenged us to make a card representing our least favorite weather. I actually hate sandstorms more than anything, but I didn't think a plain brown card would be much fun, so I went with blowing snow instead.
This is a card kit I downloaded quite a while ago from a site that is out of business now. All the layers print out for you to cut and attach to the base using foam tape. I added Stickles for the snow bank and Santa hat, and Gelly Roll pens in clear Stardust and white Glaze pens for some falling snow before attaching the layers with foam tape. Really easy and the kit even comes with inside decorations. That's cool!
As always, thanks for looking!

Fun layering-we have a wide open yard (we're in a parsonage with the church behind us) and you wouldn't believe the way the snow and leaves blow across it.

I love your snowstorm...now I am trying to picture how you could have turned this in to a sand storm. I have a friend that lives in Arizona and the pictures she posts on the sand storms are amazing. I am just in shock at those storms and I can totally see why you would not like them. Great job on this darling card. Thank you for supporting HYCCT!

Pinned this to the favorites board before I even read the description - I love it!
But sandstorm - wow - I think you're the first one to use that in this challenge - I bet that is terrible! I hate wind in general, so wind with dirt in it doesn't sound great!
Love the card. Thank you for making this for my challenge.

Love, love your image Jody. Sandstorms, I can only imagine. I know being on beaches on a windy day isn't any fun and that's a pretty minimal sand/wind combination. But the acute angle of the tree and the snowman's hat in the wind certainly reminds me of the way trees grow here in exposed places, you can always tell which direction the prevailing wind comes from.
