This is a card I have made for my Mum's 90th Birthday later in October. She loves blue hydrangeas with a touch of mauve on them - I must have inherited that from her too - as I love them as well.
This card is based on a beautiful card created by Cheryl Quilts - which I just loved. I had to hunt around for the stamp and finally found it.
The flowers were coloured with watercolour pencils and then fussy cut and layered up on the bowl and also on the die cut background.
Hope you enjoy.

I love them too, although the bush I have has not had flowers since I planted it from a Mother's Day potted plant that was just loaded with beautiful blooms. Colored up beautifully, and I am sure your Mum is going to love this card.

Oh, Helen! This card is gorgeous, and I know that your dear mum must love it! Your coloring is exquisite, and I am so very honored that you CASE'd my card - it's a joy to see it (and I'm so sorry that it's been so long since I've visited your gallery - life has been different). Hugs, dear friend!
