I stamped the background by inking up a large acrylic block with inks, spritzing it generously with water, then stamping onto watercolor card. When dry, stamped the branch, greeting and butterflies. I wanted olives, but my new stamp hadnt arrived yet (this was for a Greek friend) so I drew in the olives and made them pop with glossy accents.

Great background effect, Cindy, and not having olives can't keep a good crafter down! You did a bang up job of creating your own. Such a peaceful lovely scene.
