Every year I bring out the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz to honor my sister who lost the battle a few years ago. But, she was so fierce and courageous. I thought this sentiment was just perfect: There is no fear in fierce! I wanted a colorful, freeform background for my lion so I used a background stamp that shows a wash of color and then added in the dots on top of that washy color. The Lion was masked off first.
I hope all are jumping in with both feet this year for our breast cancer patient card drive we call Hope You Can Cling To. Join us, there are prizes people!

Wow! That's an awesome card for this purpose. Love the lion and how you colored him. The sentiment is powerful. The background works great. Very nicely done! TFS

Oh Kathy, I love all the elements you pulled together here - the background is great, and the lion is so fitting. That sentiment too - so true, and as always, such a sweet tribute to your sister. I'm glad you're here. Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge and for supporting Hope You Can Cling To!

What a powerful card to honor your sister's battle with cancer. My brothers and sisters (I have 2 of each) were so supportive when I was undergoing cancer treatment. Your card is perfect with the sweet lion and the wonderful sentiment. A terrific card to remember a special sister.
