I let the water do the blending for the background. Then I stamped tiny bits of a music stamp randomly on the background using both first and second generation stamps. This time the texture of the watercolor paper was in my favor since it added to the look of the card. I popped the sentiment up with foam dots.

This is fantastic, I love that you matted and "framed" the card with watercolor! Really nice composition, hehe. When I was in a vocal group in my college days we used to turn to our neighbor and say encouraging things like this as part of warm ups. Sounds cheesy but it fostered a great ensemble sound, thanks for the reminder!
