We mounted a white plastic pegboard (found at Lowe's) and then used all the different varieties of hooks--the particularly long hooks were suitable for holding up a nice shelf I found at Ikea. This works nicely for me for now, was inexpensive, and keeps my counter top free and uncluttered.

I didn't read everything here, so I hope I'm not repeating a question. I love what you have done with your space. I have asked my husband to look into the peg board before. He keeps wanting to build a frame to mount it on. Sounds like too much work. How did you mount your peg boards? Please be specific on what type of hardware and where to get it if you can. Thanks so much!
