So much fun to travel through Penny's beautiful gallery. I was looking for Christmas/Winter ideas, and chose this lovely pine design to CASE: Mountain Trees in Sunset by Penny Strawberry at Splitcoaststampers. I stamped and heat embossed the flurry and trees, then sponged tea dye, broken shutters, and faded jeans. Matted on blue with SB/bracket die cut at the base. Stamped the sentiment and matted on SB/pierced rectangle then adhered to green base. Added Stickles dots for falling snow. Congratulations Penny on being this week Featured Stamper!
EDIT: Oops! Not broken shutters (no such thing)- it's PEELED PAINT!

This is so pretty, Priscilla! I love the emboss resist & the colors are wonderful with the white framing. Got a chuckle out the "broken shutters" color. It's so hard to remember those distress ink colors.

The embossing you did on your card is beautiful. I love the coloring on it making it look like it's snowing. Especially after seeing the trees covered in snow. Thanks for traveling thru my gallery and picking a card to make. TFS!

Snow beautiful. The embossed trees looks great and really pop with the amazing sponging. Love the swirling snow at the top. The sparkle is pretty. Nice sentiment stamp. Wonderful take on the inspiration. TFS
