What amazing abstracts in today's IC site! The colors are just fabulous. I was inspired by This.
My card today is almost entirely bits of leftovers from other projects or bgs I didn't use. The largest bg was done on the backside of a piece of glossy c/s & has some kind of a coating on it..sort of semi glossy. The detail leaves were stamped w/ resist ink then brayered over using a rainbow ink pad.
The white strip down the left side was stamped w/ other leaves using the same ink. The serpentine like glitter strip was a leftover & was made w/ a hot glue gun & glitter was sprinkled on while still hot. The large leaf was stamped & die cut w/ the matching die. I added some little copper glitter acorns & some leftover squiggly glitter pieces from an oak leaf die. I die cut an oval in the bg & added the greeting underneath. It was first stamped w/ the resist ink, brayered then over stamped (slightly offset) w/ Versafine.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, this is wonderful how you captured the vibrant colors of the artist. The richness with the added gold is perfect. Leftovers never looked so good. TFS
