I got my inspiration from Michele Zindorf, I absolutely love her cards!
I used Post-It's to cover the top half of the card then sponged the bottom half using Pacific Point. I removed the Post-its and sponged the top half using Tempting Turquoise.
I ran a piece of Creamy Carmel through the embosser using Tim Holtz wood grain embossing folder then sponged it a little with Close to Cocoa to give it a weathered look. I added a little twine to the poles. I punched the bird from white cardstock then sponged it with Going Gray and used a dimensional behind the wing. I used markers to color the beak and eye and drew the legs with an orange marker. Finally, I added a little glitter glue to the water to give it some shimmer.
