This is an ATC that I have made for this weekend's stamp group meeting swap - featuring birds and flying mammals. The flying mammal I would have liked to use would be the pesky possum that is eating my magnolia flowers and chewing the parsley. Though I don't think brush tailed possums actually fly - more like they thud across the roof at night with army boots on.
This little birdy definitely looks like he needs some very strong coffee. His eyes are supposed to be all blood shot and he definitely looks like he was partying all night.
The background is a gelli plate print scrap. The birdy was coloured and then fussy cut to give him a bit of a lift.
Hope you enjoy.

I personally just can't get into the birds! BUT, I love what you did with your little guy! The bloodshot eyes and the coloring are wonderful. Sentiment is perfect!!! LOVE IT.

Oh, Helen, this bird is so funny, and I love that you gave him blood-shot eyes for being up all night with that pesky opossum! So sorry that he's been eating your magnolia flowers and chewing on your parsley. Well, at least he'll have good breath?! But seriously, what a fun card, and I love the background and how you colored this bird and popped him. Definitey gives it great dimension! Hugs! (And I hope the coffee helped!)
