Jeanne gave us a challenge today to use a pumpkin on our card. Last week a card made by Cheryl Quilts made me smile...love what she did with a digi. She did a no line water coloring technique. Here is the card. CC548 Olive and Oak by CherylQuilts at Splitcoaststampers
Using her inspiration...gave it a try. Using different reinkers and a smaller brush than usual watercolored the image that was printed on water color paper, added the sentiment also with the computer. Everything was going fine, but one of the pears looked like an alien object. Covered it with gesso...let it dry, and made it into an eggplant. Thanks for looking.

This is very nice Linda! Wow, I have to try this again...I always loose the lines and have a hard time of it! Your Thanksgiving bounty is wonderful even if it IS a birthday! Hee! Love your painting!

Oh, Linda, what an amazing and gorgeous painting (it should be framed and hung)! And I can't believe I inspired you. I totally love your beautiful image and did get a giggle when I read about your "alien" becoming an eggplant! What amazing work you do, sweet friend! You continue to delight and even amuse. BTW, sweet Gail sent me an email and let me know about this beauty! Hugs!

Wow, Linda this is great. I can see why you were inspired by Cheryl's card. It's beautiful too! Now I'm inspired by both of you. I love that you have an alien-mutant eggplant in there.
