I need to say this was a bit of a challenge. The only neutral I could come up with for Pearl is gold, but I had heard that June has more than one birthstone, so I looked it up. There were four listed which threw me for a loop and I stuck with the pearl. It just has more class than Moonstone and the others.
My BG cardstock is some kind of shiny pearl and I just stamped the ornaments with VersaMark on it and heat embossed them with gold. Not too shabby, but I might try again and go with a black pearl. The sentiment didn't have a name on it.

I think these 2 colors are a great match...very elegant. Lovely embossing and the edge border is so pretty with it....TFS..:0)

Beautiful! That pearly background paper is the perfect foil for your lovely gold ornaments! I too think a black version of this would look very dramatic and lovely. :-) 'The Black Pearl' ...now where have I heard that before? :-)

LOL, I found it a really challenge too, Carol! You did beautifully, this is such a classy and elegant Christmas card. I think pearls do come, even naturally!! in other colours, but there's no denying that when you hear "pearl" you think creamy white.

Beautiful, Carol! Your bg sure looks like pearl to me! I always preferred the Alexandrite (I'm June, too). I do have a moonstone and to me it seems like a cross between an opal & a pearl. You did a fabulous job w/ this & I love the gold embossing.
