Thank you for checking out my card for my Hope You Can Cling to Challenge!
One of my mom's favorite artists was Claude Monet. He painted several paintings of water lilies. We had a reproduction of this painting in our house when I was growing up. It had a very large pink mat around it!
I used Unity's "Rosey Thoughts" stamp of the week because even though it says "rosey," I thought it looked a lot like a waterlily. I used shades of pink and purple for the flower. I've matted it with a matte pink cardstock and glitter cardstock, and the patterned paper is from Recollections. The sequins are from a shaker mix called "phosphorescence" by Lucy's Cards.

What a wonderful story and memory of your mom! I love this idea for a challenge (but will truly find it challenging!). Your beautiful water lily is gorgeous in those gentle colours. TFS

Wouldn't you love to wake up every morning with a Monet painting hanging opposite your bed? I would....a lovely start to the day. Your card is sure to bring those same feelings to whoever receives it. So soft and lovely. Thanks for a creative challenge today.
