This is for Anna's fun MIX challenge "White Wash".
I stamped the tree trunk using my MISTI. The trunk is very short so I flipped the stamp upside down and stamped the straight part of the trunk again to give it more length.
Using a sheet of aluminium foil in leau of a craft mat, smack some gathered twigs distress ink onto the al foil, squirt on a lot of water, then using a rectangular foam blending tool, mop up the inky water and using the side edge of the foam, apply the ink to the tree trunk. Repeat this technique using watery black and a little bit of green.
The grassy area and purple sky are all done the same way. I prefer the rectangular foam blending tool over the circular foam as I have more control using the edges and getting reasonably straight lines.
I created the white space by diluting white acrylic paint with a lot of water then finger painting over some of the purple background. I also dripped extra water on the purple and blotted with a baby wipe.
When everything was dry, stamp the leaves and sentiment. Add a few tiny spots of sparkly stickles and doodle a border using fine micron pen.
Thank you for looking.

Your little "magical worlds in a card" are so inviting, I wish I could sit under that tree. The mix of colors on the tree are fabulous, and I love the hanging vines. Fantastic sentiment. Into my favs.
