A birthday card for me would be done in coral and aqua and have flowers. I tried the batik on paper technique, that Heather Nichols showed on her site. The flowers were stamped with versamark, embossed with clear ep and I applied the distress inks in the colors listed above. The white panel was partially embossed with a Lifestyle Crafts folder, placed on the calypso coral card base and the floral panel popped up with foam tape. I added a few pearls for accent.

Your batik technique is SO well done, Sue.....really looks like a fabric from the South Seas. The colors are bright and happy and I can understand why you are so fond of them. You have LOADS of talent. : )
