This is a card I made as a thank you for someone, the picture was taken in a hurry so it isn't the greatest and I apologize for that. I distressed and embossed the ivory and water coloured the flowers with my lead pencils. I put glossy accents over the bird and then die-cut the pieces to layer over the ivory.

Beautiful colouring of that detailed image, and oh my - your ribbon treatment! I love it. I am ribbon challenged , I settle for admiring it on other peoples work, mostly.

Thanks Sabrina! You're probably going to laugh at this but, the ribbon idea came to me while I was frustratingly trying to tie a bow. After several attempts at tying I was going to make two loops and pinch the bow in the middle and place the brad in the center to pin it. While I was making the loops I thought I liked the loops by themselves so just add a couple more and use the brad to pin them instead and voila! No pain in the butt bow needed lol!

Beautiful card. The coloring is lovely and the colors are so vibrant. I agree how you did the ribbon is awesome. So fun that it came together by trial and error. That's what happens in paper crafting. Learn on the job, so to speak. Nevertheless, it accents your card wonderfully. Thanks for sharing!
