Using this old camping set from SU and a variety of tree/land dies, I created a camping area. This was made for my nephew's birthday. This year he has spent many nights in the area of the Appalachian Trail in the Georgia area......I 'threw' in the bear as with our last nime, 'Griz; or some version of that, is often used a s a quick nickname. I try to personalize in some way the b'day cards I send to my three nephews....this was the 'camping season' card for Kyle.honestly, not made today but new to any posting......since I just had back surgery, 'cheating' is the only way for me right now....

That bear fits right in this darling campsite beside the river and fireplace. I just hope this does not come to play in real life. I love bear hugs but only from my grands.

This is an awesome card for your camper nephew. It is such a fun scene. I like your Griz explanation, also. ;)
Joanne, I'm so sorry to hear you had back surgery. I hope you are improving daily.

Joanne, I'm so glad you had the energy to upload this cool card today. Wishing the surgery was a success. My most favorite aspect of homemade cards is the fact they can be personalized. Makes the recipient feel special. Your scene is amazing with all the different details. Fav'd

Wonderful personalized card for your hiking nephew. NEver apologize (That's #1 for Gibbs in NCIS!). Just get better so you can get to your 'cave'. I love your layout!!!

Joanne, hope you have a full and speedy recovery from your serious surgery.
It's NOT cheating......it's never seen the light of an upload, so it is NEW. Wonderful scene with some humor thrown in. Your nephew, Kyle, is going to ADORE it!
Joanne, this is really fun! I've always thought that bear was so cute! It sounds like a great choice for your nephew! Hope you're back on your feet soon.
