This card will go out to Suzie who is facing major health challenges right now. She has worked for Community Pet Rescue Shelters and has taught CPR for pets.
The bg for the boy and his dog is made with brushos...after the colors were applied and dried I used a stencil and spritzed with water to remove some of the intensity. I used two stitched dies to create a frame..I purposely did it at an angle to create added interest. There are score lines at the top of the green panel which might be hard to see to represent the tiny dotted section of the sketch. Oh and the image has been sponged with distress inks. That's all folks! TFL!

I love the way you colored your main image. Beautiful job with the sponging!
And of course, nearly everything is better with a tilt! Those stitch dies are fabulous. Amazing what that bit of extra detail can add.
Beautiful card!

Another amazing card, Polly. This one has so much energy projecting from it. The circle bg and the angled rectangles have sucha sense of power and movement. The combination of the active bg with the gentle sweet image of the dog and boy is wonderful.

I really like the way you did the stitched frame. The bright colours contrast well with the more muted shading on your image. The recipient cannot help but be cheered by this lovely card!
