Garden in Bloom is one of my favorite new SU sets. It has so many possibilities. I wanted to keep the background fairly simple but mirror the feel of the stamp set. I first ripped the paper then ran it through a crimper to get the corrugated effect. (This worked better than crimping and then ripping for some reason.) One of my favorite things about this set is that your stamping does not need to be precise. In fact, I think it looks better when the stamping isn't spot on - it adds to the casual feel. After stamping, I masked off the images and sponged the green background. And since the image is so loose I didn't have to be super precise in my masking.

Ooh! I love it when a card makes me look again at a stamp set! This card is so pretty, and shows off this set to perfection. Love the torn layers and the buttons, too! So glad to have you with us for the month of September!

Great card! Love how you used the corrugated to such good effect. The whole thing is just the right amount of looseness vs intentionality.
