This card started out as my entry for PTI's Stamp-A-Faire Unconventional Challenge. My "hardware store" finds were paint swatches and the plastic bumpers. I used Lexi's sketch (Pattern #7) for the design. This also ended up being a "Make it Work" entry. Why, oh why do I leave stamping to the end?! It's always that last stamped sentiment that gets me. Every time! The "heartfelt" stamp had baby wipe fibers on it, so when I stamped it not only did it smear, but it read "heartfett." No bueno (shout out to Nina Garcia!). So one of my many fixes - I re-stamped on just white card stock and covered up the smudged part. I actually like it better, because it doesn't get as lost on the Kraft, and the size is a little more in proportion. Three challenges in one! Yikes.
And while I'm on a roll, I'm also entering this into SSS Monday Challenge (Trio of Colors) - Brown/Kraft, Burnt Orange and (paint chip) Yellows.

Great idea to punch out of paint swatches and also to use bumpers! Lovely card. Thank you so much for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Hugs, Sandra
