Goodmorning! This month I am again participating in the progressive challenge van Gerda Steiner Designs. When you make a card with the image from that challenge, you get next month's image for free. The freebie this month is Snoozing puppy van Gerda Steiner designs. I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut it out. I really had to think for a long time what I was going to do with the image, but then I decided that I would draw my own scene on the card. So with a pencil I have carefully drawn a tree and grass on a card, after I first had drawn faux stitching on it with a black pen. Then I colored the tree and the grass. The next problem was the sky, because I wanted a blue sky. Coloring it blue with a pencil wasn't an option for me. so with some really careful masking I colored the sky with a ink blender and soap powder ink from Jenni Bowlin. The sentiment is from ladybug crafts ink, from the set It's only words 4 (retired).
