For today's MIX135 Back To School challenge to use anything chalkboard related.
And for the current Anything Goes challenge over at Serendipity, since I thought this stamp would work really well as a chalkboard image.
I stamped it in white, embossed it, and then, though it's hard to see, added a green pencil border with some red dots, which I went over with Glossy Accents and then sprinkled silver glitter in a few spots. It's mounted on foam, on a stencil and Brusho background from my box. I added some lace and black gems to finish it off.
Not quite sure how I feel about it, but it will certainly work as a birthday card for my SIL who cooks. It might be better just having the chalkboard panel on an embossed white background, but I'd tried several different backgrounds on the way to this one, cutting my finger badly along the way. So maybe it's just a sore finger speaking!

I love how this image looks on the black! Wow. Then your colorful and fun bg really sets it off. Love this card! Hugz
