I had some beautiful gold foil candy wrappers in my stash, perfect to die cut ornaments and the filigree tree. The greeting is stamped and embossed. I added some gold twine to hang the ornaments and finished with a gold ribbon. TFL

Nice! Good job saving and repurposing the wrappers. I couldn't tell until I read your description. The ornaments hanging from the sentiment is clever! The knot in the ribbon right at the base of the tree is also clever. Nicely done for a lovely, sparkly, shiny card. Well done for the color challenge. TFS
Very elegant! Love the gold foil and white color combo! It make such a lovely Christmas card! I just want to thank you for your sweet comments this week and for honoring me at SCS!

There isn't much that beats gold and white for elegance! I love the font on your embossed sentiment. Its weight really balances the lovely gold ribbon. As others have said the way you placed the cinch in your ribbon at the base of the tree was very effective. Great card!

That is the most creative thing I have seen in a long time...recycled candy wrappers. You must buy better candy than I do....most of my wrappers are better left to the trash. The gold ribbon acrosd the bottom is striking and the die cut tree is lovely. The gold makes this a very regal looking card.
