I inked the embossing folder with black ink and then ran it through the cuttlebug. It didn't quite turn out burnished that I had hoped it would. It just kind of dulled it a bit. I used scissors to distress the edges of the card and added a little torn paper.

I'd say it might need something like Archival or Staz-On to really burnish the card if it's a slick finish! But it looks great as it is, and I think the combination of the sentiment and compass (with more metal!) is brilliant.

I love the distressing and the time piece is fantastic! Great job adding the brad for the metal and the metal embossed piece. Fantastic sentiment too. Thank you for making a card for my Make it Metal challenge!
