Lisa's challenge this week calls for us to bring on the metal. I started by embossing the silver paper with an embossing folder, rubbed the black ink over it...wiping some of it off. Then using versamarker pad, swiped it over the embossed paper. Added clear ep and heat set. Die cut the opening....painted the flowers on the black. Added the silver bow. This was fun to try something different. Thanks for looking.

Your try something different is fantastic!!!! I love the wonderful frame you created and I will have to remember to use the clear emboss over the metal when I try this to keep the black on the metal. Beautifully painted flowers and wonderful silver bow. This card is out of this world beautiful Linda. Thank you for making such a stunning card for my challenge.

Oh my goodness, this is so beautiful. In the gallery AND up close, this looks like a gorgeous old fashioned picture frame. Great idea about clear embossing to heat set. I got so carried away with the frame, I almost forgot what you put in it.........I'm back, i just had to scroll back up the screen and look. Talk about a jaw dropping surprise. Linda your painted flowers are like a watercolour masterpiece.
