I finished this card up last night for the color challenge, but it was too late to load it. I loved this challenge. Such easy yet classy colors to play with! I bought this gold foil paper a long time ago and was anxious to use it for this challenge. However, it was really metal and the die would not cut through it. it would only emboss it. So, I cut the tree out again in gold vellum and laid it over the gold tree. I did fussy cut the main image of the tree. The spellbinders label was also cut from gold vellum. I outlined the card with a gold gel pen and added several dots of gold liquid pearls around the the label and on the tree.
Thanks for looking!
P. S. I found out that fingernail glue works great to adhere items that don't want to stay stuck very well. I have that problem with vellum paper. The card I made yesterday was supposed to have another gold flower on it, but I glued it to my finger! :0 That stuff dries fast and is super sticky, so if you ever try it, do so with care! ;)
