I read somewhere that Egyptians worshiped cats, and that is why you never hear of cats in the Bible. (Moses brought the Israelite out of Egypt). So for this card, I chose cats.

Jan, I love, love, love this adorable card!!! You are right, they did worship them and this is the perfect card inspired by my aunts Cleopatra teapot. I love the embossed BG and added gems and the green in your cats eyes. You have brought an amazing card to the tea party for everyone to oohhh and aahhhh over. Purrrrrrr-fect! Thank you for making a card inspired by my aunt's Cleopatra teapot. Big hugs!!!

FABULOUS card, Jan! Clever to use cats which Sabrina did and I was thinking of. LOVE the gold emb bkgrd with the gems. As well, the cats are beautiful. My first cat named Kat, was pure black with vibrant green eyes. These remind me of her. I sure loved her a lot. xx

We have an all black cat that roams our area - we call her Midnight and a couple of years ago we saw her 3 all black kittens. I love your black and gold combo and the background is fabulous.
