This is a wiper card. It does not open up like a regular card. When you pull it gently open from both ends a little wiper pops up from the inside. I frayed the ends of the burlap ribbon. I trimmed the woodgrain note tag a little smaller so the Old Olive tag showed. I popped the row boat up on dimensionals. I took a straw from my broom to make the fishing rod, glued some fishing line to it and a little hand cut circle of paper for the reel. I trimmed the fishing line to fit between the boat and the dragonfly I had put in the fish's mouth, allowing enough line so it wouldn't pull on the fish when the card was closed. I coiled the other end to represent the loops that result when you are fly fishing. The wiper is designed to represent the fish jumping out of the water. I robbed some little scraps of fly tying feathers from my Husband's fly tying bench to add interest to the lures on the side panel. There was a sign on the DSP already, so I simply positioned my greeting banners over it with the post showing.

Wow! This is a great card to celebrate a fisherman or an outdoorsman! I love the way the fishing line leads to the fish which pops up out of the card! Thanks for helping us celebrate 100 challenges at As You See It Challenges this week!

This is just beyond creative! I've never tried a wiper card but really may need to! I LOVE the fish on the wiper. I also LOVE the texture burlap brings to any project! Thanks for playing along with the 100th Challenge over at the As You See It Challenge!
