This is for IC507- Mix Media/Canvas Art challenge. A few weeks ago Audrie made a Beachy Keen project using texture paste for my DTGD15 challenge that took my breath away. I was intrigued and couldn't wait to try it for myself. This is the first time I have ever used it so needless to say I didn't really know what I was doing. LOL!
I was inspired by two projects. I loved the brick and window in this project and the snow covered pine and pinecone is this project. Armed with my finger as a tool I started spreading the paste on my embossed brick background. I hit a couple snags along the way but it didn't stop me. I used embossing paste to add the snow to my holly and poinsettias.

This really is gorgeous, Kittie. This was my first time with the paste as well, and I think it will take some getting used to. I really think you did an awesome job combining the two inspiration pieces, as different as they were!! WOW!

This one knocked me off my chair! Stunning is simply an understatement!! You are an artist of the highest caliber - everything you do shines! You go girl! WOW!
Kittie, this is Fabulous! LOVE it! The textured brick BG is so neat and your flowers are always the best! We might be related, as both of your choices are on my list--which was a very long list with today's site!

Wow Stunning Kittie:-) I always use a palette knife to spread my eb paste, but looks like your fingers worked great! BTW, a discarded gift card works great to make thin layers of eb paste or Gesso :-) I bet you are getting the bug my friend. It is so inky messy and fun and...if you do not like it just cover up and try again :-) TFS your beauty!
