Colored the SU Basic Gray stripes with Many Marvelous Markers and a Journaling Pen. Cut the card base shorter than usual, so the white and punch could go off the ends of the card.
There aren't really any tutorials that I know of for the techniques I used on the card.
The stripes are colored hash-mark style--first little short vertical lines, then I did long lines following the diagonal of the stripe in Old Olive, Bermuda Bay and Basic Gray.
I used a journaling pen to outline the gray and white striped strip--to give it more of a hand-drawn feel. It was too perfect without it and didn't match the other piece.
Off the edge technique is just cutting the card base shorter than usual and filling in the space by putting elements of your card--in this case a punch tab and a layer--off the edge. So the card measures like an A2 when you put it in the envelope, but I think I cut the base 1/2" short.

you put this card together splendidly. Such nice color combo; and love everything about it and the sentiment on the side. It would be nice to see where these techniques are you refer to. Can you pm me if you see this?
