This is for our very own SCSer, Marie-alice aka Alice aka Ladybug91743.
I want Alice to know she is not alone. Most of us here at SCS have never met and chances are we never will, but with a click of button, we are not alone. Someone is always awake at Splitcoaststamperville.
About this card, the usual smack of distress ink onto a large sheet of aluminium foil followed by a big squirt of water, dunk the cardstock in the inky puddle. Sprinkled Brusho powder on card, squirt on more water....not happy yet, so out came the big guns...squirt Dylusions ink spray on the al foil and yep...squirt on more water, dunk the cardstock in the inky puddle and move around until happy.
A little bit of stenciling and stamping on the dried background, doodle border and doohicky sticks, add white dots.
The birds were stamped onto a rejected piece of purple (same method as above), fussy cut and adhered to card. Draw on long legs, add boots and sentiment.
I hope this brings a smile to Alice.

Absolutely beautiful and fabulous, Susie, as always!! Love the colouring, particularly the gorgeous green bg (probably because it is my favourite colour!) but your long legged birdies, the long card and fabulous sentiment all combine to make this just terrific!!

Wow, where to start Miss Susie, sounds like you were at war with your card background---hence bring out the big guns---LOL---guess you won the war. Sweet images, great fussy cutting and over all a card that will be loved---wonderful this is.

Brilliant as always, Susie! This, I am sure, will put such a big smile on Alice's face. Both your backgrounds and those long legs are so typical of you, and so wonderful to see.

Oh Susie, that's a pair of cukoo birds for sure!!!! They are simply a hoot. What a smile they will bring to Marie-Alice's face. Your descriptions are just the best. You should be a writer.......comedy or otherwise :-) Hugs~~~

From what I've seen Alice is definitely not alone. SCS is a community of caring wonderful people! I'm sure many prayers are being sent up for her.
Susie, it's so nice to see the Crazy Birds have found their way into your neighborhood. I can tell they're in your neighborhood by the presence of the doohickey sticks. I also see that long tall Sally has taken them under her wing and trotted them off to her favorite leggings store. And probably because they wanted to fit in with all the other residents, they bought the shoes she strongly suggested would go so spectacularly with those gorgeous leggings. And of course they really do. This is another Susie Masterpiece! Please keep them coming. The Beauty you put into these cards is Amazing and we all love the stories you've regaled us with. Thanks for enhancing our lives with your talent.
